The price for our travel programmes is calculated by a basic price per person sharing a double room. If you like a single room or need a sighted companion troughout the trip there will be an supplement to be paid. This extra has been calculated for every trip individually.
Supplements for single rooms or sighted companions
- Supplement for a single room: in case you want too book a single room there will be an additional amount to be paid which will be listed under each of our programmes.
- Supplement for a sighted companion 1:2: If you are visually impaired and travel alone, tour de sens offers a service of a 1:2 accompaniment (1 sighted companion for 2 blind travelers). This is on request and will be charged with a respective additional amount, which will be listed under each of our programmes. Our sighted companions are experienced and specially trained to accompany blind guests on our trips.
Services
Unless otherwise specified, the following services are always included in our tour prices :
- Two tour de sens guides who will accompany the group during the whole trip
- Accomodation with breakfast
- Half board or full board, which includes meals at the hotel as well as meals in local restaurants
- If you apply for one, sighted companion 1:2
- Local guides and the tickets for museums, initiatives, tastings, etc. …
- Transfers from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport, baggage transport, public transport and the specified types of transport on each trip
- A Travel programm which was created with care for blind and visually impaired people
- 3D printed models and topografic landscape models for the use during the tour
Outward and return journey
Normally neither the outward nor the return journey are part of our services. If you need help with the booking of your flight as well as with the booking of the special airport assistance, we will be happy to assist. Please bear in mind that the searching and booking of adequate flights, the realisation of the respective invoice and the request of special assistance at the airport requiere a lot of time and increase our work load. For this reason we will charge you an additional amount of 35 € per flight booking. Please note that, if you like to book your ticket yourself, it is important that you contact us before you actually book a flight. So we can insure that the minimal number of participants has been reached and that the trip can take place.
