Visit South Germany and the French Alsace in its best time of the year, when the region is most enchanting, more alive, more emergent and magical. The Swabian capital Stuttgart unites the automotive industry with its wine tradition and its passion for cultural excellence, like no other capital. One example of the named excellence is the opera theatre of Stuttgart, named best opera theatre in Germany. We will be able to visit it exclusively and in an adapted way for our group. Another example will be the well-known Mercedes-Benz museum, which we will enjoy during a specially adapted tour which has been awarded numerous times, by various public and private institutions. We will visit university city of Tübingen, with its gondoliers on the river, who tell stories transmitted from generation to generation. In the historic centre of one of the prettiest towns of the Black Forest we will get closer to the traditional life, the crystal production, the dense forests and the medieval carnivals in which witches and demons play the main roles. A little bit more on the west side, on the other side of the river Rhine, which divides the French region of Alsace from the Black Forest, we will visit the city of Strasbourg. Strasbourg is defined by the stunning beauty of its gothic cathedral as well as by the elegance of its historic centre, with many cafeterias, restaurants and antigue houses decorated with nice frameworks that shape numerous and irregular streets.
Day 1: Arrival to Stuttgart
Once you arrived at the airport in Stuttgart we will accompany you to the Hotel in the city center. In the evening we will have a welcome dinner. Dinner included.
Day 2: City tour Stuttgart and Mercedes-Benz-Museum
At the beginning of our journey we will do a guided visit of the city center of Stuttgart, where we will visit the museum for historical musical instruments. In the afternoon we will take advantage of the fact, that we are in the automobile center of Germany and visit the innovative museum of Mercedes Benz. Breakfast and lunch included.
There is also the option to join a concert at the opera in Stuttgart in the evening (depending on availability).
Day 3: Tübingen, Black Forest and glass factory
We will say goodbye to Stuttgart today and make our way to the Black Forest, but before we get there we will stop in the city of Tübingen. One of the well-known university cities in Germany. On our way to the Black Forest, where we will learn about the craft manufacturing of glass, which made it famous.Total driving time 3 hours and 30 min. Breakfast and dinner included
Day 4: Gengenbach and the museum of Black Forest Customs
After enjoying our Breakfast at our traditional "Gasthof" we will take a closer look along the city of Gengenbach during a guided tour. We will learn about its history and its carnival traditions of witches and demons.
In the afternoon we will submerge into customs and traditions by visiting the Black Forest Open Air Museum.Total travel time by public transport 45 min. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 6: Strasbourg, cheese tasting and visit of a "Brauerei" (brewery)
Today we will take an excursion to the near french city of Strasbourg. A guided tour to its historical center and its impressive gothic cathedral is a must! Before crossing the border again we will have an Alsacian cheese tasting. Back in Germany we will stop at a "Brauerei" where we will learn how to brew beer and where we will try some of the different own-brewed beers. Breakfast and lunch included.Travel time in total on the train 1 hour and 30 minutes (return).
Day 7: Baden-Baden and the monastary of Maulbronn
Today we will leave Gengenbach and make our way to Stuttgart.We will stop at one of the coffeeplaces that has made Baden-Baden the tourist city par excellence of the european aristocracy of the 19th century. Also on our way there we will have a look at the monastery of Maulbronn of the 12th century, where we will learn more of its rich architecture and its importance in universal history during a guided tour. So we have reached the end of our tour and what would be better to reminisce the anectodes and impressions of our journey than a fare well dinner with the taste of a great trip. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 8: Goodbye.
Transfer to the airport. Breakfast included.

The trip to the Black Forest and Alsace contains a programme based on cultural highlights along the cities, museum visits, degustations, company visits ecc... For all this you need a good physical condition to be able to enjoy the programme at its fullest.
